About Us

The crypto bonus space is broken. That’s why this site exists.
Most crypto casino bonuses are designed to look generous and behave like traps. A 200% match, “free spins on signup,” “no deposit needed,” wrapped around 50x rollover, max-cashout caps, weighted game contributions that mean blackjack pays five percent toward clearing, and an expiry window that almost guarantees you don’t finish in time. The marketing screams. The terms whisper. By the time you’ve read them you’ve already deposited.
Most affiliate sites won’t tell you that, because most affiliate sites rank whichever operator pays the best revshare and slap a star rating on top to match. Players lose. The handful of operators with actually fair offers get buried under the noise.
FreeCryptoBonus exists to flip that. Every bonus on the site is run through a documented, weighted grading method instead of vibes, scored 0 to 100, and published. If an offer looks huge but is rigged to be unclearable, it scores badly and we say so out loud. We’d rather lose a partnership than rank a trap.

Who runs the site
FreeCryptoBonus is run by Balazs Pal, an iGaming professional with eight-plus years on both the affiliate and the operator sides of the industry, across casino, sports betting, DFS and crypto gambling.
On the operator side, Balazs spent close to five years running CRM for a national sportsbook with more than a million active users. That is where you learn how bonuses actually get built. Who they are designed to retain, who they are designed to filter out, what the “free money” headline costs the house in practice, and which terms are deliberately confusing for a reason. On the affiliate side, he led content, SEO, content compliance and design at Raketech across a multi-geo portfolio of sports betting and casino brands, then co-founded the lean operation that now runs FreeCryptoBonus and a small network of related sites. The sites are built, written and SEO-ed in-house. None of it is outsourced to a content farm.
He is also a bettor first. Nearly a decade of testing over 100 sportsbooks with his own money, getting limited, blocked, banned and occasionally scammed along the way, plus an independent US sports betting-analysis project (now Bankroll Challenge) built on closing-line value and third-party verified results on Betstamp. That is the lens this site brings to bonuses.
How we grade a bonus
This is the part most affiliate sites skip, so here is the actual method. Every offer is scored on a 0 to 100 scale across seven weighted factors:
| Factor | Weight |
|---|---|
| Rollover requirement | 30% |
| Eligible games or minimum odds | 25% |
| Hidden restrictions | 20% |
| Expiry window | 15% |
| Bonus size | 10% |
| Bonus to deposit ratio | 10% |
| Minimum deposit | 5% |
Anything with 50x or higher wagering auto-fails on rollover, even if the rest of the offer is excellent, because at that point the math is closer to a marketing illusion than a real promotion. The same goes for bonus-and-deposit rollover (when the wagering multiplier applies to both your money and the bonus, doubling the real requirement), max-win caps tied to deposit size, and second-rollover-on-winnings clauses. Those get caught under hidden restrictions and the score drops accordingly.
The final number maps to a star rating. 85 and up is five stars, 70 to 84 is four, 50 to 69 is three, anything below that we mostly list so you know what not to claim. Rankings update daily because terms change, and any change to the grading formula itself gets logged on the methodology page. Full breakdown, including how game contributions and sticky bonuses are treated, is at How we grade bonuses.
How we actually test the sites behind the bonuses
The grading method is for bonuses. For the operators offering them, we test with real crypto. Real deposits, real bets, real withdrawals. We sign up, deposit, play through part of the bonus, request a payout, and time how long it actually takes to land back in the wallet. KYC requests get documented. Support response times get logged. If a sportsbook quietly limits stakes on a winning account, we note it. If a “no KYC” casino flips to ID checks the moment a withdrawal crosses a threshold, we note that too.
A site rated five stars here is one we would deposit at ourselves with a straight face. Most do not get there.
What we will not do
A few things we will not do, because they are the standard moves of the part of the industry we are trying not to be.
We do not take payment for ranking position. Affiliate links pay the bills, but the order of the list is the score, not the commission. If a higher-paying operator scores worse, the lower-paying one ranks higher. That is the only version of this site that is actually useful to a reader.
We do not ship AI-generated content as if a human wrote it. Articles here are written by Balazs in English and Hungarian, edited before publishing, and updated when the underlying facts change. AI assists with research and bonus grading inputs. It does not ghostwrite reviews.
We do not list operators we have not tested. If a brand is on the site, someone here has put money through it. If you think we are missing one worth covering, tell us. We will also tell you if we tested it and dropped it, and why.
We do not promote no-deposit bonuses on the main list. They almost always carry 50x-plus rollover, predatory withdrawal terms, or both, and you get better expected value from the minimum-deposit welcome offer. The dedicated no-deposit page exists for the handful that do not follow that pattern, with the catches called out.
Responsible gambling
This site is built for adults in jurisdictions where crypto gambling is legal. Bonuses are entertainment value. They are not income, and they are not a strategy. If gambling has stopped feeling like entertainment, the gambling can wait and the support can’t. BeGambleAware and the equivalent national helplines are the right starting point.
We score operators partly on the responsible-gambling tools they actually offer, things like deposit caps, cool-off periods and self-exclusion that works on the first click, not the version buried three menus deep.
