BlockSpins is run by Block Interactive Services, Ltda, registered in Costa Rica under company number 3-102-881031, at an address in Pavas, San José. The Terms say the agreement is governed by Costa Rican law, and Costa Rican courts have exclusive jurisdiction. EU residents keep the mandatory consumer protections of their home country.
No gambling licence is named in the Terms, the footer or anywhere else. The Sports Rules mention “the regulatory authority overseeing the Operator” without saying which authority that is. A company registration is not a gaming licence, and there’s no regulator to complain to if a withdrawal goes wrong.

What We Think About BlockSpins as a Gambling Operator
The site’s own copy promises “most crypto payouts processed in minutes.” The Terms add a limit: $7,000 every 24 hours, plus whatever you deposited that same day. A $40,000 win therefore takes six days to reach your wallet, although a higher VIP level can raise the cap. You can only withdraw in the currency you deposited, because BlockSpins doesn’t exchange between coins.
Several account rules can take your balance. The inactivity clause is the one I’d lose sleep over:
- Inactivity: after six months without activity, BlockSpins says it “will deduct the account balance”. The notice arrives by email 14 days beforehand, and email is the only contact detail the site collects. Miss that email and the balance is gone, with 10 days to appeal.
- Permanent self-exclusion: closing your account permanently forfeits the remaining balance and any cashback still due. Withdraw first.
- Multiple accounts: accounts from the same household, IP address or subnet can be closed without warning, with no refund of deposits. That’s a real risk on shared university or office networks.
- Conduct: an offensive username or insulting a member of staff can get the account terminated and the balance frozen.
The sportsbook runs on Betby’s platform, and the Sports Rules add their own conditions. Withdrawals can be suspended for up to 31 days while “unfair activity” is investigated. Bets placed from several accounts on one IP address can be voided. Arbitrage betting gets you banned permanently. The sportsbook also failed to load properly during our July test.
Some of the site’s claims don’t match what’s on it:
- Provably fair: the footer says “every game is powered by provably fair technology,” but the live casino carries Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live tables, which run on their own studio systems. That can only apply to the in-house games.

Watch the phrase “total deposit amount.” Read literally, a second deposit made during the 7 days raises the 40x target, even though only the first deposit earns the match. The refund clause contradicts the 1x rule. It lets you cancel “Blockspins Balance” by email within 14 days if you haven’t used it, which in practice means returning an unplayed deposit without wagering it.
What 40x in 7 Days Costs You
Deposit $100 and you need $4,000 of slot turnover within a week. Take the full $1,000 and it’s $40,000, or about $5,700 a day. All of it is played with your own money, because the bonus isn’t credited until you finish. If your balance runs out on day three, there’s no bonus.
The expected cost of that turnover is 40 × (100% minus the RTP) × your deposit. At 96% RTP, $40,000 of spins costs about $1,600 in expected losses to earn a $1,000 bonus. At 97% the cost is $1,200. The deal only breaks even on slots at 97.5% RTP or higher. Treat it as a 2.5% rebate on turnover you were going to play anyway, not as money you’ve been handed.
Cashback, VIP and the Raffle
The VIP page gives two different cashback figures. The perks list and FAQ say up to 20% weekly. The “Exclusive VIP System” block on the same page says up to 10% weekly. Cashback is calculated on the previous week’s net losses, credited on Tuesday afternoon, and capped at $20,000 in crypto.
The “Recharge” perk pays 20% to 40% of 1% of your wagers for 7 days in a row, which works out at 0.2% to 0.4% of turnover. The level-up bonus is advertised at “up to 400%” without saying 400% of what.
The weekly raffle has a $500 prize pool and draws at 00:00 UTC. Tickets come from real-money wagers on eligible slot-tagged games, and bonus money and free spins don’t count. Prizes are credited automatically within 24 hours. BlockSpins can change or cancel the raffle.

BlockSpins’ bonus is honest about how it works: wager 40x, get paid, walk away. There’s no win cap and no second rollover. What sinks it is the 7-day window. Clearing the full $1,000 means about $5,700 of slot turnover a day, and none of it lands in the bonus column unless you finish.
The operator side hasn’t improved since July: no named licence, a thin and polarised Trustpilot profile, and a sportsbook that failed to load in testing. The Terms add a $7,000 daily withdrawal cap, a six-month inactivity rule that takes the balance, and two different cashback percentages on the same VIP page.
Bottom Line
Only take the bonus if 40x your deposit within a week is play you’d do anyway. Pick slots at 97.5% RTP or above. Ask support for the maximum bet before your first spin, and withdraw winnings as they come rather than parking them. A quiet account loses its balance after six months.
