Cloudbet launched in 2013, which makes it one of the oldest crypto sportsbooks still running. It’s operated by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. What We Think About Cloudbet as a Gambling Operator
Cloudbet is built for volume bettors. It accepts about 30 cryptocurrencies, from BTC and USDT to ZEC, HBAR and TON, and it runs a public betting API. Whale Mode splits one large target stake into a sequence of bets at a minimum price you set. Parlay payouts are capped at €1,000,000.
The Terms still have clauses you should know about before depositing:
- Handling fee: Cloudbet may charge up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals (7.1.10.1). It can also deduct deposit costs from a withdrawal if they exceed the revenue you’ve generated (7.3.7).
- Stake size: a single bet worth 25% or more of your deposit can cost you your winnings (8.10). The clause sits in the promotional bonus section, but it isn’t limited to bonus play by its wording.
- KYC: required once your total deposits reach $2,200. Funds can be locked until you pass.
- EU players: deposits are legally prepayments for bets. Any balance above what you normally bet must be withdrawn within 60 days (20.6).
- Pulse leaderboards: by using the site you let Cloudbet publish your username, winnings, ROI and betting summaries, including on social media and streams. Opting out isn’t retroactive, and anything already published stays out there.
- No .edu emails: accounts can’t be registered with .edu email addresses.

Cloudbet Welcome Package Terms (Summarized)
- Who qualifies: new players who registered after 08:00 UTC on 2 January 2025. It’s one package per player.
- How to activate: make a first deposit of any amount. There’s no opt-in and no code.
- How rakeback pays: you get 10% of the house edge on each bet, and Cloudbet decides what the house edge is. 30% of each rakeback amount is paid straight to your wallet. The other 70% goes on your rewards calendar and unlocks in six equal parts, one every 48 hours.
- How cash drops pay: 20% of each drop is paid straight away and 80% goes on the calendar, in the same six parts.
- Claiming: each calendar part must be claimed within 24 hours of unlocking or it’s lost.
- Sports bets: only settled bets count. Clause 8.4.4 says rakeback accrues on sports and casino bets, but the Welcome Package page calls it “casino rakeback” and gives sports only a weekly Friday cash drop. We scored the stricter reading.
- End date: 30 days after your first deposit, or when you hit $2,500, whichever comes first.
The 10% table-game contribution in clause 8.5 covers promotional bonuses with wagering, not this package. The Welcome Package has no wagering at all.
What Rakeback Is Actually Worth
Our old example said $500 of bets would earn $50 in rakeback. That treats rakeback as 10% of the stake, which overstates it by a factor of 25.
Here’s the real calculation. On 96% RTP slots, $500 of bets carries a $20 house edge. Rakeback is 10% of that, so $2. You get 60 cents straight away, and the other $1.40 arrives in six parts of about 23 cents each over the next 12 days.
Scale that up and the $2,500 cap is mostly out of reach through rakeback. It would take about $625,000 of slot wagering in 30 days. Anything a normal player earns beyond small amounts will come from the cash drops and the Vault, and Cloudbet doesn’t publish how either is calculated.
One more quirk: rakeback earned on day 29 is still unlocking on the calendar around day 40. The Terms don’t say whether calendar parts survive after the package ends. Claim everything you can while the package is running.
Cloudbet Promo Code & No Deposit Bonus
No Bitcoin promo code is needed. The first deposit starts everything.
Cloudbet has no public no deposit bonus. Clause 8.7 does cover no-deposit cash bonuses if one is ever issued to you. Winnings from one can only be withdrawn after you deposit at least $20 and bet that deposit once in full.
Evolution “Casino Free Bets” appear in the Reward Games lobby now and then, with a €500,000 cap per session. Those are separate from the Welcome Package.
After day 30 you move into Cloudbet Rewards, the standing loyalty programme. It offers up to 25% “Turbo” rakeback (again, a share of the house edge) and cash for each level-up.
Casino Loyalty Club tier points work differently. They only count while you have no active wagering bonus (9.5). If you don’t place at least one real-money bet in a calendar month, you drop down a tier (9.8).
