How Do We Grade Crypto Casino Bonuses?
A large bonus can lose most of its value to wagering requirements and withdrawal restrictions. Our bonus rankings use the scoring criteria published below, so you can see which terms earn points and which cost them.
Each bonus receives a score from 0 to 100. The category weights and scoring thresholds are public. Choosing those weights involves editorial judgment; publishing them lets you assess that judgment for yourself.

Which Bonus Terms Matter Most?
We score each bonus against seven published factors. The weights add up to exactly 100%, and wagering carries the most.

How Does Our 0-100 Bonus Score Work?
Every factor gets 0 to 100 points from the tables below. Multiply each score by its weight, add the seven results, and round to the nearest whole number. That’s the final score.
Worked example: the 500 Casino sports Free Bet scores 100 on rollover (1x), 100 on minimum odds (1.60), 20 on hidden restrictions, 60 on expiry (14 days), 80 on size (up to $500), 60 on ratio (100% match) and 60 on minimum deposit (over $25). That’s 26 + 22 + 3.4 + 7.8 + 7.2 + 5.4 + 2.4 = 74.2, so 74/100 and four stars.
What Does “Auto Fail” Mean?
An auto fail scores 0 in that factor. The other six factors still count, so an auto-failed bonus can still land two stars if the rest of its terms are decent. We always name the auto-failed factor in the review, because a single terrible term can make a bonus pointless no matter what the total says. A 50x rollover on an otherwise clean bonus is the classic case.

Bonus Terms Demystified – Real Examples & Advice
Wagering Requirements: What They Really Mean
A 40x wagering requirement means you must bet 40× the bonus to unlock it.
Example:
Deposit $100 → Get $100 bonus → You must wager $4,000 before cashing out.
⚠️ Watch for the “Bonus + Deposit” Trap!
Some casinos apply rollover to both your deposit and bonus, doubling the total.
- Bonus Only (40x): $100 × 40 = $4,000
- Bonus + Deposit (40x): ($100 + $100) × 40 = $8,000 ⚠️

A $100 bet on live blackjack? Only $5 counts toward your wagering. Some crypto casinos go further and weight contribution by RTP, so a 99% RTP game can count for a tenth of your bet. Check the casino’s own table before you play.
Max Win Caps: The Hidden Ceiling
Some casinos cap your winnings, however lucky you get.
Example:
Max win = 10× deposit
Deposit $50 → Win $1,000 → Only $500 is cashable. The rest is forfeited.
We reduce bonus scores when we see these caps. When a casino publishes several caps for the same bonus, we assume the lowest one applies.
Sticky vs. Non-Sticky Bonuses
Non-Sticky (Good): You play with your deposit first. Win early? You can withdraw without touching the bonus.
Sticky (Bad): The bonus attaches to your deposit. Even early wins get locked behind wagering.
We strongly favor non-sticky bonuses and flag sticky ones under Hidden Restrictions.

A headline percentage cannot tell you whether an offer is worth claiming. Our scoring gives more weight to wagering requirements and eligible games than to bonus size. You can compare those priorities with your own before choosing an offer.
We recheck a bonus’s terms every time we update its review, and each review shows its last-updated date at the top. Any change to this grading system is logged below.
Grading System Changes
- September 2026: category weights rescaled so they add up to exactly 100%. The relative priorities did not change: rollover still counts most, minimum deposit least. We also defined what an auto fail does, closed the gap between the 48-hour and 3-day expiry bands, and added a worked example.
