What We Think About Thunderpick as a Gambling Operator
For esports it’s one of the best-built books around. The Betting Rules have game-specific settlement for CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Overwatch, Rainbow Six, Mobile Legends and Wild Rift. That covers Chronobreak rewinds, Match Medic, disconnects in the first 10 minutes, and stand-ins, which count until they make up the majority of a team. In soccer, 1X2 bets pay early if your team goes two goals up. The casino lists 5,000+ games from 80+ providers and shows RTP and volatility for slots. Our earlier review measured sportsbook margins of 6% to 7% on major leagues.
The Terms around withdrawals are harsher than the product suggests:
- Verification deadline: KYC can be requested at any time. If you don’t complete it within 30 days, Thunderpick can close the account, keep your winnings and charge a “contractual penalty” equal to your entire balance.
- Breach penalty: the same full-balance penalty applies to any breach of the rules of conduct.
- Withdrawal limits: the minimum is €10 and the maximum is €100,000 a week. Wins over €400,000 can be paid in monthly instalments of up to €400,000.
- Fees: the Terms say that in most cases, depending on your jurisdiction, Thunderpick charges transaction fees on both deposits and withdrawals.
A few account clauses are worth knowing before you deposit:
- Closing your account: closure costs €20. If your balance is €20 or less, the whole balance is kept as the fee. If it was less than €20, the shortfall is taken from any account you open later.
- Dormant accounts: after 12 months with no deposit, withdrawal or bet, the balance is set to zero. An email warning goes out at month 11.
- VPNs: section 3.1 allows them “to help secure your connection”. Using one to get around a country restriction forfeits the balance.
- Bets from restricted countries: section 3.3 says bets accepted from a restricted jurisdiction stand “regardless of whether you win or lose”. Withdrawals, though, may require proof you bet from somewhere allowed.
Disputes go to support first, then Thunderpick’s Dispute Resolution Office, then EGIS-ADR (disputes@egis-adr.com). The Terms say the ADR decision is binding and may stop you going to court. The Terms also include a class-action waiver and arbitration under an institution Thunderpick chooses only after a claim is made.
Two clauses read like leftovers from older contracts:
- Complaint window: section 19.2 says complaints must be filed “no less than 7 days and more than six months” after the issue arose, which can’t be satisfied as written.
- Pool betting: section 8.1 has you confirm you understand the site offers parimutuel pool betting where odds shift after you bet. The sportsbook runs fixed odds.
Thunderpick is a strong esports book on a real Curaçao licence, with Terms written almost entirely in the operator’s favour. Take the betting bonus if anything, finish KYC early, and don’t leave money sitting in the account.

Thunderpick Originals carry their own bonus bet cap, and the published figure for it is broken. Section 22.14 states it literally as “[x]% of the bonus amount, with a minimum of €1”. A placeholder was never filled in.
The Rules That Can Cost You the Bonus
Section 22.4 says any attempt to withdraw funds, or to cash out a placed bet, before wagering is complete may forfeit the bonus and its winnings. On the betting bonus that makes Thunderpick’s Cash Out button a trap until you’ve finished the 20x.
Section 15.2 says bonuses are for “recreational bettors only”. Players Thunderpick considers professional can be hit with increased rollover requirements or lose bonus access, and so can their “linked accounts”.
The remaining bonus rules:
- One per household: one bonus per person, household, address, email, payment method, phone number, device and IP address.
- Zero-risk betting: covering both sides of a market is classed as abuse, as are “equal, zero or low margin bets”.
- Mixer rule: if Thunderpick suspects you’re using the site as a crypto mixer, it can impose 5x wagering on your deposit even without a bonus.
What the Rollover Costs on a €100 Deposit
Betting bonus. €100 plus €100 at 10x means €2,000 of bets, at no more than €50 a bet, so at least 40 bets. At the 6% to 7% margins we measured on major leagues, that turnover costs about €120 in expected losses to earn a €100 bonus. The bonus only breaks even on markets priced at around a 5% margin or tighter, which usually means main markets on top-tier esports and football.
Casino bonus. €200 at 40x is €8,000 of slot turnover, at no more than €20 a spin, so at least 400 spins. At 96% RTP that costs about €320 to earn €100.
Game weighting makes it worse. Clear it on blackjack at 5% contribution and the same €8,000 becomes €160,000 of hands. Nobody is doing that for €100.
Betting Rules Worth Knowing
- Results are final 48 hours after publication
- A void leg in a combo is settled at 1.00; the rest of the slip stands
- “Twin combos” (near-identical combos, or singles with identical outcomes, used to get around max stakes) can be cancelled even after settlement
- CS2 and Valorant maps are void if at least four rounds are played short-handed
- For League of Legends, Dota 2, Mobile Legends and Wild Rift, an admin win in the first 10 minutes voids the map

You don’t need to find a code. Thunderpick says one fills in automatically on the registration form. To claim:
- Register.
- Choose the casino or betting bonus on the Bonuses page and click activate.
- Tick “I want Deposit Bonus” on the deposit page.
- Deposit at least €20 in BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, XRP, BCH, BNB, TRX or DOGE.
Thunderpick’s own bonus post calls the €600 betting figure “currently boosted” for its World Championship. That post is dated April 2023, and the €600 was still showing in our January 2026 screenshot. The figure could drop if the promotion ends.

The betting bonus is the one to take: 20x the bonus with no minimum odds is about as light as esports welcome offers get. It lost points because the deadline isn’t published and because pressing Cash Out before you finish can wipe the bonus.
It still isn’t free money. At the 6% to 7% margins we measured, €2,000 of turnover costs slightly more than the €100 it pays. It only comes out ahead on sharply priced main markets.
The casino bonus is €2,000 of headline behind 80x rollover. On a €100 deposit that is €8,000 of slot spins, costing around €320 to earn €100.
Bottom Line
Pick the betting bonus. Stake no more than half your deposit per bet, keep your hands off Cash Out, and ask support for the wagering deadline in writing before you deposit. Send your KYC documents the day they’re requested, because the Terms give you 30 days before your whole balance is at risk.
